Go Ice-skating in Port Jefferson Village
This year, the RINX at HarborFront Park will be open starting November 29th, seven days a week until closing on Sunday, March 8 2021. This is a fun activity for family and kids, with a view on our beautiful marina!

2. Go on a Seal Watching boat tour
Did you know that winter is the peak season for seals on Long Island?! Captain Lou Fleet in Freeport takes you on great two-hours cruise from the end of December to the end of March.(from Dec. 29-March 29, 2020) around Hempstead Bay. It’s the occasion to have fun and for the kids to learn about these seals thanks to the naturalist on board!

3. Go on a Family Nature Walk
Caleb Smith State Park is one of only two state nature preserves on Long Island! Within its 543 acres are a variety of habitats offering guests picturesque views that change with the seasons. Caleb Smith is a passive use park. This not only helps protect the local plant and wildlife populations but also allows visitors to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the quiet serenity that can only be found in nature.

4. Explore the Hamptons for a day
Get the winter vibe in some of the most famous Hamptons downtowns. Towns like Southampton, Westhampton Beach, Sag Harbor or Montauk. The streets are filled with Christmas decor and full of cute little shops and restaurants for the whole family.
